what is your opinion?

Its only fair to compare the bishop and the knight because both are 3 points ,, my preferences goes with the type of game and stage of game, So for me: 1. Knights are more valuable than bishops in a clogged game 2. At the end game, a pair of bishops is more valuable than a pair of knights, however a single knight is more valuable than a single bishop 3. In a game with both queens still available, i feel the knight is worth more than the bishop, that's if i am the one attacking, using the knight and queen combination to ambush a castled king is priceless 4. In a rather more open game the bishop tend to be more valuable due to its long range laser 5. All in all i like knights esp with the ability to unexpectedly fork the king n queen n those useless rooks during a blitz game, thats why my name is Fork_master coz al FORK you with the ACE, Cheers

It's the thot that counts.
