Mine's the revised algebraic notation version of Chess Fundamentals by Jose Raul Capablanca. Pretty good book albeit a little outdated, it's still very helpful. I haven't finished reading it though.
Depends - do we mean any chess book? Because the one that’s been arguably the most helpful for me is a puzzle book by Maxime Blokh
Thanks, Dare Tower! Yes, I have "How to Win at Chess," and it’s definitely a really good one. Also, thank you to Nonotrocosto for the recommendation of "The Chess Player"—it looks like a great choice! And Thanks DoYouLikeCurry (yes, I do) for the puzzle book suggestion 🙂.
These are all really helpful books!

Mine was supposed to be a joke it's a novel not a chess book but I'm happy to see you so dedicated ;
Modern Ideas In Chess by Richard Reti. Such a wonderful book! Reti was a fanstastic author even though he only wrote two books. His book, Masters Of The Chess Board is also a masterpiece!
He wrote in descriptive notation, though. Learning descriptive notation is a small price to pay to be able to read his books!
Thanks Zipho Lunika! Yes I'll have to learn descriptive notation. I agree with you I have read MASTERS OF THE CHESS BOARD and it is great!
