When are most Grandmasters at their peak rating?

I thought narrowing it down to a day of the week was already a major achievement (compared to all the other wishy washy studies) and was all set to celebrate

I don't think you can say definitely an age or a day, however my extensive research points to a conclusion which I think few can doubt:

GMs are at their strongest during the period in which they are alive.

You are welcome.  I am always willing to help with such analysis, because I owe it to my fellow chessplayers.

Even with painters, though they may become more acclaimed after their death, I have always found it difficult to commission any new work at that point.

No post commissioning? I protest, as an undead bunny

Strictly, I might commission the work, but it tends not to be delivered.

when they smoke just enough pot and drink just enough beer (not too much, just enough) to be at their strongest.

This is a troll thread, right?

A troll thread?  A troll thread!?  What gave you that idea?

Actually, I think it was a serious question, but since the trolls are hungry they will feed where they can.

And as far as beer, for a few players at least, it may have been true (Alekhine and Spielman both liked them some beer very much, for example).

This thread is a F*****G waste of time. Who F*****G cares? The only post that makes any objective sense at all is #12 above. Who Gives a F**K

Your attempt in #12 to separate age and the effects of ageing seems completely unnecessary.

It is necessary, Ein-f****ing-stein, to explain the aged abilities of Masters such as Lasker, Capablanca, and Alekhine. Moreover, the conclusions drawn are logical and in harmony with reality, dumbs**t, Additionally, factors other than age were pointed out such as stress and health issues which are not dictated by age.

In #12 you say yourself that they're correlated to age, and you also say... wait, you're older than 50? Jesus, I thought you were something like 16.

He is more like a 5 year old, should have see his latest comment before yours Binary.

Yeah, that's odd behavior.

He only said they were related... which they are.

Yes, I remember your response where you make a ridiculous strawman "only aged people have cancer."

That's what strawman is. You make a claim for them. See the quotes side by side in #49.

Too much troll, I'm done replying to you for now.
