I am from the USA and would not wish Magnus to lose his championship.

For one reason, me wishing it would not make it happen.

For another reason I try hard not to wish anything bad on people.

testaaaaa

the chance of winning the candidate tournament is pure luck even magnus would need several attempts (yasser seirawan).  If he loses the title it will take very long time to get it back

I don’t want Carlsen to lose. I want Caruana to win.

If Caruana wins, Carlsen loses.

That is necessarily true, yes. But it’s all about my motivation. I don’t have anything against Carlsen.

This line of thinking precludes you from rooting for any particular team or individual of any sport or game.

We would have to have a Play Carauana App if Magnus lost

I don't want to lose Magnus his title

People saying Carlsen is not motivated is wrong, I'm sure he is more than motivated to not lose the title.
I am looking forward to the openings that will be played as lots of times you see the innovation come out during the WCC matches.

I live in the USA.  I do not wish to see Carlsen lose. Also do not wish to see Caruana lose.

I think Magnus is a great title holder and considering he's a prodigy I would  like to see him on top as long as Kasparov was. The longer he's there, the more motivated the rest of the world will be to beat him. His skill, prestige, youth and charm make him a great figurehead of the chess world. Everyone loves a winner and the longer he stays on top, the more exciting chess will become.
