I play chest because I’ve mastered the harder games, got nothing to do with my parents. Though they do blame my love for chest as the reason I didn’t become a neurologist. I blame it on wonky brain cells, which no doubt would have been my goto diagnosis for each patient.
who is just doing chess to please there parents?

If my dad was in my life, he’d certainly be displeased about how much chess I play. I am not addicted to “chest” though, chess and chest are very different.
Ofc, I love playing "chests" too. It's fun opening and closing them. Chess, in particular, is my pleasure and my pain. I love playing it, became an addiction now and doesn't disappoint me much anymore. On the contrary, my gf disappoints me a lot. Can't decide what I should do rn.....

lmao
Mostly to my parents dismay. They know I play it, but not that much. I think I would be dead if they knew how much I play chess. But as long as I am doing fine in school and as I am doing sports they don’t really care about what I do
Your parents would prolly be happy. A lot of parents have this strange idea that chess helps you with school lol
They support it but I am doing it because I want to
