why do we blunder in chess?
Yall think it’s possible for me to get to 2k? I think the best game I’ve ever played is 1700 rating. I can consistently hit around 1600 rating but then again I also can consistently blunder everything I own…
Do you mean the rating that gamereview gives you? This rating doesn’t reflect your strength and shouldn’t get much attention.
A lot of people see gothamchess but never do what he says.
YouTube content is optimized for engagement, not for helpfulness. Don’t waste your time on it.

There are some very good channels, however overall I agree.

You have to put in more effort than what you're doing. 500 games in 2 years isn't enough
Hi everyone! I just played a cheater can everyone please report him. he was also really offensive and insulted singapore his name is @deetyakumar
He's not a cheater, he's just a racist
then please report him for racism
If you’re the one who witnessed it, why do you want others to report if for you?

OMG the more report him the more likely he gets banned
Back when I was playing passable chess, most of my blunders came from thinking deeply and then forgetting that couldn't play a certain move because of an immediate threat. Now days, I blunder because I'm just not looking at the position. Perhaps laziness. Perhaps too many dead brain cells.
Blunders happen because we, as humans, don't know what the person on the other side will do. Take this example:
You try to perform the fried Liver but you blundered. The queen will take. Surely after taking, black is winning, right? Well, not exactly. Look at this diagram:
The pawn is pushed, doing a revealed attack on the queen with the bishop while the pawn is attacking their bishop. For them, it just looks like your attacking the bishop so they'll take it with their pawn. That's a blunder because you can now take their queen. I hope this answer was relivant. Bye!
