Mine happened to be a game I played here, on chess.com. It's hard to believe that only ~2 weeks has passed since this game, but it's changed my chess playing. It's by far, my most memorable game so far. (Not really looking for game feedback; just want to share something interesting.)
Here it is:
I've never seen such a move; it was swift and almost beautiful. An attack so close to my army full of pawns, and yet, I couldn't defend it. Yes, I should have seen it but I was too careless during the open. It's definitely made me pay closer attention to my opponent's moves during the opening.
I don't know how much longer I'm going to keep trying this attack (so far, I've tried on every chess.com game without success). It's like a sweet vengeance that I'm ready to bestow on another so that he/she may be blessed with a memorable game too... but no takers!
At least now, I'm more comfortable with queen pawn opens. It's trial by fire learning to open with the queen pawn : )
What's yours?
