Abandoned game

I can't say which game you may have had it happen on but at least two of your losses today were by abandonment.  Are you sure the one that caused you to wait wasn't one where you lost by that?

Not saying it was on purpose but it is possible you thought your opponent abandoned but it was you that had disconnected.

I believe there is a way some people cheat on chess.com. What they do is when they someone finds himself with an untenable position, instead of resigning like a gentleman, he will sit on his hands and not move. Then when his victim sees he is not moving, he will fall asleep or go off and do something else. Then at the last moment the cheater makes his move and his victim, no longer attentive to the game, loses on time!

     Yeah, that happens.

To cut down on aborted games were you see a higher rated opponent abort. I think it would be best not to see player ratings till after there is no more abort option.

So youre guilty of what youre complaining about?

Maybe your opponent(s) have the same connection issue you do.

Well, to be fair, I don't really understand the abort by leaving the Live screen of the app. There are situations where trying to fix a disconnect may require leaving the app temporarily.

No need for smiley faces when you are ahead. Try a little maturity.
