Abuse caught with proof, Staff please help.

Checkmate_06

So recently, a guy called [removed -- VP] abused me over the chat before I disabled it as he lost a game and he started abusing me with messages, so I blocked him and now he is on my notes. There is proof right here and please check my notes, I usually like to keep my notes clean but I have decided not to delete that until a staff sees it. You can check my notes for abuse proof.

I know I am not supposed to publicly shame people but there is no regret in shaming these kind of unsportsmanlike people.

I have contacted the member.

If you blocked before they left you a note, you should open a ticket, since blocks should not allow that.

I had reported him 2 days ago and was disappointed with the delay, So I decided to bring it up to the public.

Checkmate_06

Checkmate_06

Based on what I could see, there wasn't a bannable offense, but I can't see messages. Generally speaking, members receive warnings first and then mutes. Banning happens for more extreme behavior or continued abuse.

Checkmate_06

Hmm, Ok. Ill have to go with it

If the messages were particularly bad, support may decide on an escalated approach.

Checkmate_06

They were focused on my family and stuff, and a lot of "F***" and talks about my mother. It wasnt appropriate to be honest.

@Checkmate_06

Thicken your skin. Don't be afraid. If you get offended by such silly things, then you got a lot of work to do.

Checkmate_06

I ain't afraid, Just sad that these sorta people are here in chess.com, I wasnt offended and didnt say anything back but still I would  like to make chess.com a better place, Everytime you ignore them, they just multiply

EJPS007

I know

There was also another player who I had reported for being rude to me through PM and in my club’s notes section. Chess.com never responded at all. I won’t tell the name as for privacy reasons

You cannot see the member because the moderator has deleted it and I have brought this here because I had solid proof in my notes and reported and got no reply. That's frustrating for everyone and I brought it here

RichardZheng2006

Uhhh sorry @checkmate_06, but you have nothing in your notes? Just "hi" ... Did you make this up to get attention or something? Please correct me if I'm wrong, sorry.

In today's world, I wouldn't be surprised if someone found "hi" offensive.

What I learned: Do not say "hi" , it is a swear word

That is due to the offensive note being removed after I saw it and contacted the member.
