After installing Windows 10 board too small in live chess

Sort:
BockyBoy

I tried all browsers: Chrome, IE 11, Edge, Firefox. Board is too small on all of them.

Board used to be much bigger few days ago before new Windows installation.

I read through the posts, but saw no solution. Zoom in browsers did not help - board is still small.

Choosing which ever size in the settings - big, large, humonguous, maximum does not change the size of the board.

Do I need Java? Do I need anything else? Any prerequisites? I did not have to worry about this before.

Thanks in advance for any help.

If you're over on V3, there's a very cool adjustment in the upper right hand corner next to the board.  Yep, that's it; the 2 headed arrow pointing at the diagonal.  Just grab that sucker and move it up or down the diagonal: harder to explain than do.  Hope that helps...

Based on the description the OP is on v2.

Are you on the simple board? You might try switching to see if that helps. Or migrating to v3.

Switch to v3, then use these tools as needed. They are always located top right of the board. (click and drag the resize tool to adjust board size.)

It has something to do with zoom, after all.

In Edge browser when I set zoom level to 100% board is somewhat bigger. My screen resolution is Full HD, it seems to add something to the problem.

Thanks guys for your replies.
