Suggest not always assume bad intentions. Maybe the guy had trouble with his internet connection and was much more frustrated than you.
Bad connections drop in and out. Jerk offs do one in the surf, and the other in a chess game
I want to give this guy the benefit of the doubt. If it was only a few moves into the game, it sounds more like a bad connection. On the other hand, I was playing a game the other day (my opponent's first on this site), and I got to a clearly won position--several pieces ahead.
All of a sudden he just disappeared. The clock kept running, and I had to sit there and wait. Fortunately, it was only about 4 minutes. Finally I won by when the site determined he had left the game. Now that was a poor sport.
