My game report is messed up: https://www.chess.com/analysis/game/daily/229275292

it doesn't reflect the game that was played. I'm confused.

Is this the game?

Yes.

I think it has to do with the game having saved self analysis during play.

If you go to that page and then pull up the bug report tool, it will capture a screenshot to send to support@chess.com. (The other option is to send an email to support@chess.com with the screenshot attached.)

@havelock3 hey there. Just happened to see your post. I opened your game and opened it in analysis. I can't see anything wrong on the report tab or the Analysis tab. In the analysis tab no "during game" saved self analysis moves are shown either. They would show up as moves in grey bars between the actual moves made. I don't see that. All I see is a normal post game analysis move list. Maybe if you attach a screenshot of what you think is wrong we can help you out. Btw chess.com decided to include saved self analysis moves one saved during the game in the analyzed game list. I personally don't agree with the decision as it makes the post game analyzed game list look like a total mess. Plus new engine moves and variations added after the game get  put in between all the saved analyses, also in the grey areas and in the same font and black type...creating a real mess. Luckily your analysed game move list looks short and straightforward.

I have had a similar problem, particularly when playing the computer where, after the game, the analysis board is correct, but the moves below correspond to a previous game

Thanks all,

I did do a bug tool report so hopefully that will help them find the issue. I’ve had this happen before and it seemed to correct itself after awhile but so far this one has been stubborn.

@flashlight002 From what I see the analysis moves are short but don’t match the actual game played. I was thinking that it was maybe a branch of my saved self analysis but I don’t remember now if I really did save any.

Another member recently reported this problem with one of their games. When other people looked at the game and the analysis, they saw no differences. (The link to the analysis was provided by the member.)

Have you tried clearing your browser’s cache?
Have you viewed the game’s analysis with another browser?

I use Chrome but I get the same problem in Safari. Also get the same issue using chrome on an iPad. Clearing the cache has no effect either. I wonder if the other people having this issue also have saved game analysis...?

Same problem with my next game:https://www.chess.com/daily/game/229275278
