Can't turn premoves off

I have "Enable Premoves" disabled in settings which is supposed to disable it in live play, puzzles, and against bots. I mostly play against bots and they are really slow to respond and I keep triggering the stupid premove mechanic when I play against them, thinking they have already moved when they haven't, and then finding out the premove wasn't the best after they've moved their piece.

While yes I could stare at the screen and drool, maybe pick my nose, while vapidly thinking about nothing in the few seconds (an absolute eternity) I need to wait for the bot to respond, I would much rather the "disable premoves" setting actually work and disable premoves in my games.

Is there any chance this could be fixed?

Bot takes forever. I'm going to die from old age waiting 2 seconds each time
