Edit game in a library folder

Is it possible to edit a game in a library folder?  I entered a historical game from one source. However, I have now found in a different source that one move was incorrect. Can I change the one move or do I have to reenter the entire game?

Load the game in analysis and you should be able to make changes and save.

When I do this and make a different move, it appears as a variation. It does not replace the incorrect move.

Guess I should have read that more fully. You can't correct an individual move. You can make a new one, and promote that variation, but the rest if the moves, along with the original one, become a new variation.

The best method is to download the PGN, open in a text editor, manually change the move, then import again.

Ok. The game was from the 1930s and does not have a PGN. I guess I just have to recenter the moves.

Thanks for the assistance.

Since you have the game already in your Library, you can download the PGN and load it in a text editor and correct the incorrect move. You can then add this new corrected PGN file to your Library Collection and delete your incorrect move game from your Library if you wish.
