how do we turn off "Was so-and-so a Good Sport?" after each game?

And while you're at it, check for mistakes may be removed as well. I thought i finally managed to turn it off, but the past few days it has come back to haunt me, and i can find no option whatsoever to turn it off again. It happens when i go in my archive to check back on a game. And when i open it it starts checking for mistakes automatically. It used to be like that right after the game was played (which i managed to turn off). But now it's like this. Anyway, if i want to check for mistakes, i will check. But i do not like to have this done automatically.

Just another example of the ongoing campaign by the political correctness police to impose their behavioral and moral judgmentalism on society.....the root of fascism….

I'm just trying to imagine the meeting where they came up with this:

"What do our users want?"

"Less bugs on the site?" "No"

"More analysis features?" "No"

"More lessons?" "No"

"what they want is to be prodded after every game into evaluating the behavior of their opponent based on their subjective values, with their responses subsequently either ignored or potentially misused"

I am getting the feeling you are worried about people reporting you unfairly. As long you are kind you really have nothing to worry about.

great! that's easy! because everyone has the same definition of kindness, right? I think the adjective you're looking for, by the way, is liked  or, more specifically, not disliked. I think some people are concerned about this feature because it equates popularity with virtue. Being hated online shouldn't in and of itself make you a bad person and shouldn't be cause for punishment (i mean, notwithstanding the fact that it's sort of punishment itself).

This feature is either meaningless or operates under the model described above.

Well, for what it's worth, I agree completely.  I don't like such things as they never measure what they purport to measure. I think their real purpose is to give someone who gets upset an outlet and a feeling of satisfaction.  In short, it's a superficial artifice, implemented with good intentions, which ironically creates the exact issue it hoped to help alleviate.

Well even today I had a sore loser posting on my wall about how I was to be avoided because I was a poor sport and a disgrace. We played 8 bullet games and did not converse once in chat. Was I a poor sport? No. Did he click that I was a poor sport? I have no idea. If he did then this clearly was not enough for him.

If you wind up in Bad Sport Prison, you can join my gang. No tattoos, promise. We will provide protection for you, but you have to help us smuggle chess pieces into the joint.
