Joined to play with a friend. How do I do that?

The only reason im joining the site.is.to play with a friend. To have a place to meet and play.

How do i open and have somebody in specific join me?

Search your friends profile name, add them as a friend, challenge them.

Do you want to play a live game or a correspondence game? To play a live game, both of you have to be in Live Chess (https://www.chess.com/livechess/myhome) at the same time. In the space below the chat box where you can type stuff, type /play (username) (total minutes) (increment) - e.g. /play computer1-easy 15 10. The person whose username you entered will receive your challenge and can accept it. Or, if you want to play a correspondence game, just go to their profile and click "challenge to play."

Hey maker, I see a box for notes. But nowhere else into which to type that.
