Mods Power to remove objectionable images on threads

As I understand it Mods have an unrestricted power to remove any objectionable images  posted on threads. Some time back I recall that a poster posted a symbol of a Swastika on a thread but in the context of explaining the original symbolism of it in the context of the Sanskrit history-it was not posted with the "subsequent" corrupt implications.I have seen on an "off topic" thread a posting which although it illustrates an acceptable point of comparison on the point made includes a photograph of Adolf Hitler. In my view a reference by name would have sufficed.I would add that I have asked the poster to remove it but it remains.I have no desire to have the particular thread locked as many persons get great enjoyment from it.But I find it hard to distinguish between the symbol of the swastika(removed by mods) and a photograph of one of the most evil creatures the world has ever spawned.

This would be better handled by submitting a ticket, with the link, or picture in question.

I  want some definitive advice from a Mod.I assume they get round at some time to read  the "Help and Support"Threads? They seem busy enough on numerous  other threads "censoring" and locking everything in sight.

mods just follow site rules, we dont set site rules.

Why is it so hard for you goofs to be co-operative?

Why don't you try being a decent person, OP?

More power to the moderators!

My first forum comment! :-) A little bit of humour. A friend was on a games site like this. She noticed a profile where an elderly man had proudly posted a picture of himself and his WW2 comrades on his page. They were in the uniform of the German SS. When she objected he replied "Oh we were not in the "bad" part of the SS"..She said in response.."Oh!..that's OK then..I guess you were in the kind, caring and sharing section of the SS".....

What Diakonia said: submit a ticket if you see objectionable content. Mods visit various threads, but cannot be everywhere.

Thank you.I have got it sorted via the Ticket system. The image has been removed.I am not naming names but from other contributions posted by the individual concerned I get the distinct impression that they have serious health issues.Let's leave it at that.
