New Version of Chess.com

Hello, I am not computer savy in the least bit. When the time comes to switch over, will there be instructions on how to do it for us in the low tech crowd?

go to bottom of any page . In the small print you will see "try new version". 

easy to go back if you don't like it. it will be near your name, and say go to old version. good luck

What is the date that we need to switch over by ?

You won't have to manually switch. At some point v3 will be the default and that is what will load when you come to the site.

You may want to do it in advance to get used to the changes but that is up to you. Also, as far as I know there isn't a set date v3 will become the default but my guess is by the end of August.
