Puzzle Rush bug

happytoad

I have already submitted a bug report to chess.com, but I wanted to make a public post about this, too, so that I have something to refer people to when they ask me "how did you get 58 in puzzle rush?"

https://www.chess.com/puzzles/rush/happytoad/4mLAsg

In the above puzzle rush session, I had a modest score of 35. However, chess.com thinks that I scored 58 because it is double-counting my first 23 correct answers.

I have no idea why it did that, and I don't recall doing anything unusual when I started the session.

Until the score is removed, I'm unfairly taking up the #6 all-time spot on the leaderboard.

Woah, that's a new bug for sure.

It is probably related to the beta and the new way puzzles are being loaded.

I found another example of the bug:

https://www.chess.com/puzzles/rush/gejimayu/4t5eeJ

This user scored 65 thanks to puzzles being double-counted.

He also scored 88 in 3-minute rush, but I cannot find the link to that session because it's not in his recent history anymore, so I'm not sure if that session was affected by the same bug or not.

And here's a 3rd example:
