now he's doing stuff like this. Staff you know who he is, i've reported him multiple times.

RedGirlZ

They are even sending me game challenges just to irritate me further. Will see what staff do about it i guess.

Please don't post names/profiles in the forums.

If you haven't already, you should block the member, then they won't be able to challenge you to games.

Beyond that, if you have reported before, and the behavior is continuing, report again. Normally members are warned first and given a chance to modify their behavior.

And if they create new accounts to do it all over again...

I assume this is what's happening with OP

What does "[removed -- VP]"  mean?

U know who he is, staff members have IP banned him multiple times. Asking me to block someone who is constantly making new accounts is just hilarious.

It means vintage pawn removed it.

More reason to report again. If that is the case they need to be aware and see if a more strict method can be employed.

U know who he is, staff members have IP banned him multiple times. Asking me to block someone who is constantly making new accounts is just hilarious.

I also still have the logs of the reports i've made and staff's responses to them. Ask staff members such as Kayt, they will confirm what I'm saying.

Now there's no point in sending a support ticket, it doesn't do anything. If anything it just means it takes a longer period of time for someone to actually respond. I posted this and U saw it within the first hour. If I make a report ticket it takes up to 2 days to be responded to.

I'm not going to inconvenience myself just to make it easier for you, when one guy won't stop making racist comments towards me in every forum post i participate in, and as soon as they make it, delete their account, make a new one and start again.

Utopia321

That is so messed up. And is there anything that can possibly be done to stop this person beyond multiple IP bans? What is the next step, call the police to arrest whoever it is?

Blocking prevents immediate issues. Reporting gives more information to llok at deeper blocks.

That said, someone sufficiently motivated can't be stopped 100% and IP blocks are unfortunately easy to circumvent.

Also, not all staff members have access to the same tools, so only certain staff have access to your previous reports.

Yeah, so you basically admitted there's nothing chess.com can do to stop this guy from doing what he's doing. In that case I'll continue to mention his name in forums, because that's all I can do. reporting him doesn't do anything. You're making terrible defences for the report ticket system. Normally it's a good option for abuse, but it's completely useless when someone like this guy just makes a new account every time they post something crazy.

You're basically at this point asking me to shutup and just let this guy continuously harass me.

Geodesist216

Just block them. I have 5+ pages of blocked members. Annoying losers.

Do you not understand that this person normally follows me around on the forums, posts racist anti-semetic stuff, then closes his own account? first off i can't get around to blocking them normally before that, and just blocking someone doesn't stop the harassment. They just make a new account, then continue what they were doing before.

Do you think I haven't tried blocking this person, or reporting? ur asking me to do things i've been doing for the last year

milo_rules

Good response VintagePawn but she wants definitive action. The question is: Can you deliver?

There are additional steps that can be taken. I have asked for a deeper check but tickets are the way to go for reporting. Posting in the forums just gives the person more of a reason to continue, since they know it gets your attention.

I'm not asking for action, I'm just going to post about this guy everytime he does something like this, just so people become more aware of it. If chess.com as a collective can't stop some guy from accessing their site and deliberately targeting me, then I think I'm pretty justified in posting about it.
