Wrong Tactic --> Refine or Remove Please!!

This tactic has been wrong for the past 6 years and should be deleted/edited right away.

White to play.

The end result does not provide white with a stalemate (against that of what the analysis claims) or a win. The "correct sequence of moves" are dubious in nature and don't quite make sense either.

Can a chess.com staff please take a look at this particular tactic please and get it fixed asap?

Cheers,

Looks like black has a choice at the end- take the pawn resulting in a stalemate or make any other move- resulting in a loss.

It's reasonable to assume that most opponents would choose the stalemate. And that is the intended result.

You should play through the provided analysis when you have questions like this. It usually explains the results. Other players comments are often helpful too. I notice that there are several people who took the time to include a move by move analysis of one of the possible alternate moves.

If you have other moves to suggest, please feel free to demonstrate them here. It seems pretty clear to me that both white and black are doing the best possible moves.
