The world must be told.   Besides I totally trust @number-0 mostly because it is a random account I don't know on the internet.

So many of my opponents in 1 minute chess are cheating on the clock. Very annoying.

I can actually agree with you but I can't cause a girl told me this is a nonsense excuse

What was her name?

She is here in chess.com

AlisonHart

Why are there always more "CHEATER!" threads than "analyze this loss" ?

Unless your opponent made a computer-perfect defense in an otherwise lost position, I see no reason not to give most of them the benefit of the doubt. I have yet to be destroyed in a way that only an engine could find.

Alison, you exclusively only play 1 minute games, so you won't find the C's there.

It happens periodically, you reach a specific rating and then you will start losing 90% of matches because of clock cheating, disconnection hack or just because chess.com assigned a bot instead of a human player.

Stop spreading lies on forum posts. You just made a fool out of yourself in the last one.

Here's another "I know everything" guy/lady... Online games are fake and full of cheaters and algoeythms which decides if you have to win or lose according to some profit-wise game balancing logics. Luckily many and many more people everyday are getting tired of being unable to win/lose in fair matches.

Good grief!

In unrelated news I have some tin foil hats for sale, want one?

Funny how often these accusations are made, but no one has video captured their screen when it does and posted it on YouTube. I suspect that the clocks are determined by how much time has passed on the server clocks or something, so unless someone has control of the chess.com servers during their play, it isn't going to happen.

My advice if you think this is happening is to get a better connection and to make use of the pre-move feature. And get some proof with one of the MANY free screen-capture apps available, make a video, post it somewhere, and share it here. Otherwise you just sound like a sore loser...

This happens when you're on Wifi. If you see two connection bars highlighted, it means you need a faster internet connection. happy.png Sorry, but i havent noticed that i was in favor of the server while the games were on. I've been a basic member around 5 months ago, same experience. Try using a broadband connection. Takk.

try typing "/ping" on the game chat. If you see your value a bit high (250ms+), it means its your connection problem.
