Especially when it's not a nice day.
gg is arrogance

to prove gg is aragorn ...
Have you played that game? It's a WB game, and probably just a cheap, crappy game rushed out when one of the movies came out. I'd bet it's a BG.

Remember to read my post for I look at both sides of the argument.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If you dont like gg, the winner could always say, "you played well!" or "I'd like to play you another time!" or "Goodluck next game!" or "I got lucky!" GG is the essence of everything above just in an abbreviation.
Sometimes it is okay to get mad at someone when they say "gg" when it was obviously a one-sided game or they insulted you by getting 5 queens before checkmating you. That is arrogance.
This whole matter really depends on what happens during the chess game, but the best way to have a good time is to just tell yourself the game is for fun and start another game.

It purely depends on how u look at things.
Different people = different perspective = different opinions

If I get dominated and they say gg, I respond with "for who?" lol...if it's a good game then I just say it back....post 1/1000 ;)

this has nothing to do with 'handling a loss'. this is about communication between too people. i find it hard to comprehend how people can not only misunderstand the general topic, but falsly assert presumtions about me. its exactly the kind of neglection your giving someone when you say gg. dont bother to say anything else, and just say good game like you'r some kind of robot. annoyance doesnt come from losing, its from complete arrogance from ppl.
I say gg whether I win or lose. Good Game means well played or just....good game. I normally don't talk to others, but I will almost ALWAYS say gg, whether I win or lose. It's courtesy, not arrogance.
Arrogance is in the eye of the beholder.
