Im not white when I select I play white?

In the live chess, I will create a new challenge and I select I play white, but I never get to play white Yell I always end up playing black for some reason. Can anyone help? Do I have to select "I play Black" perhaps?

You can't select which color you play in live chess...

by the way, I notice you've only played one live game and you were playing the white pieces in that game.

I believe that unless you are playing unrated games with a friend, you can't select your colour.  This was a change made in response to people abusing the ability to select their colour by only playing White.
