How does one begin a match with an opponent in speed chess? I want to play my friend in a 10 game match to sharpen my openings. :) thanks in advance for any advice. :)

How do I challenge a friend to play?
Making & Challenging a Friend (Online Chess)
As long as your friend is a member of Chess.com the first step is to get the member onto your Chess.com Friends list. (If you've already done that part, great!)
As long as you know your friend's username, you can find his/her profile using the member search page.
Once on the Member Search page, use the "Search Members" box to make a specific username search.The box should be found on the right side of the Member Search screen.
Once you have found your friend using the "Search Member" box, you may click on "Friend Request" to add him to your friends list.
(Alternatively, you can click on "View Profile" and do the same things using the section to the left of your friends profile page (directly under his profile picture).
The member will get a message for your friend request and may accept or decline it.
Once a member is on your Friends list, challenging them is even easier:
Method 1: Use your Home menu to jump to your Friends List; then simply find your friend in the list and click "Challenge"
Method 2: Specify your friend as the opponent when you create a new game:
- Select "Friend" from the menu
- Then you can simply find and click on the friend you would like to challenge!
Challenging a Friend (Live Chess)
In Live Chess, you can see your friends on the "Friends" tab. (They have to be connected to Live Chess; you won't see them here if they are using Tactics Trainer or other Chess.com features.)
On the Friends tab, you can click "Play" found next to your friends name, to challenge them (if it says "Watch" instead of "Play" it means they are already playing a game, which you can observe).
You can also click on the friend's name - both on the tab and in chatrooms - to get a menu that includes "Challenge."
