it took me about 45 minutes to realize that i didn't hjave to only get the queen. thanx for making me thing outcide the norm

Often, composed puzzles are actually easier because the possibilities are limited. It's not hard to guess that the first move is moving the central pawn because the puzzle is symmetrical, and it's obviously an underpromotion because a queen is obvious. The second move is again easy because the king can't escape, and you can't promote to queen because of stalemate. Basically, the puzzle is as hard as figuring out if the first move is e8=B, e8=N, or e8=R.
This is a Mate in 3 puzzle a friend of mine showed me. It took a good hour to solve. White is moving up the board and you can see an explanation of the moves after you click 'Solution.' It is not a practical puzzle, but it will get you to go "WOW" once you finish.
