Blowing the doors off this position.

Here is how I would conduct myself, and in style. You may share your way too, if you want to input your opinion.

Brutality is the only way. Alternatives showing other forms of torture are acceptable. This is just my way of torturing.

So, does it continue with 29. Qb2 Qf4+ 30. Rd2 Bxb2+?

shoopi

Actually, no.

In the final position, checkmate is forced.

Anyways, 2..rxf1+! is a very difficult move to see at first sight, i don't believe many people would find this, as its not obvious, and not typical.

ClavierCavalier

Ah, so this is the continuation, making it mate in 3.

shoopi

Actually, after 1... Qc7 I think white will play 2. Re6 making it a mate in 4.

You guys have your notation flipped, reading it reversed can be quite annoying!

Well, given the original position, sacking two exchanges and making the king march to c2 is pretty much blowing the doors off. But yes, i unfortunately, wanted to torture the opponent Cry

What?  Oh, wow, how did that happen?  I know I just copied and pasted shoopi's pgn.  I assume shoopi just used your reversed game without actually flipping the board.

shoopi

Yeah, it's always shoopi's fault.

Always.
