chess puzzle - status...it's complicated :D
yeah...btw i forgot to include another solution to the puzzle, i think there's one more :D thanks for the comment anyway :D
Then great for finding a shorter solution :D Yes I think another mate in 10. Btw did you use chess engine or you just solved on your own? :D
The work split is like this:
(1) The OP makes every reasonable effort to assure his puzzles are correct, including the use of engines, tablebases and source checks
(2) The solver attempts to solve the puzzles without using engines until he is fed up with trying. Then he surrenders and plays out the solution.
Unfortunately, many OPs make a mess of this arrangement by posting sloppy puzzles. This puts solvers in a dilemma. How long should they go on trying to find a solution? One hour? 2 hours? 10 minutes? It is maddening to put in the energy only to find out the puzzle was incorrect in the first place. Therefore, quite often solvers assume the personae of the OP by doing the verification work for him. OPs shouldn't criticize them for it but be grateful and post better quality puzzles.
@Arisktotle - I'm singing "la la la la la" while closing my eyes and covering my ears :D jk... hey you're too serious :D my question was just an inquiry :D
It seemed to me like good advice for aspiring composers. There are rather a lot of sloppy puzzles that show up in these forums.

And my friends say that "being serious" is my funniest side. What a life I have ..
Anyway, don't take it too personal. I use the posts on the fora as opportunities to spread my views on the state of the world. I hope that some readers will pick up on the messages and help make that world a little better. Hmmm, somebody must have said that before
very well said :D don't worry i know your comments were not intended to harm the readers specially the addressee :D in the mean time I will make more sloppy chess puzzles :D no I mean snappy chess puzzles :D
You already have a snappy puzzle. Just re-post the position at #1 as a mate in 5 problem. Of course, you will have to solve your own puzzle before posting it.
sounds like there were some other possiblities, I think that I could do it as well with the both rooks, some moves were like random!
thanks n9531l :D I'll just find time to study again my composition at my work place maybe later :D @Adam - sounds great you found another solution :D
reposted :D
It's getting closer. Now you need to show the winning moves against Black's other likely defensive tries (2...Ka5, 2...Rxa6, 3...Qg3) as notes in your solution.
On move 4, White has six correct moves, but the chess.com puzzle form makes you call all but one of them incorrect. It will improve your problems if you can find a way to avoid a large number of duals.
