Gamificast, what happens if Black plays Kf8 instead of c4 ? I might miss something obvious but I don't see how White can continue the attack, or even save the Knight.

The above puzzle is what actually happened in my game. Smile But I have made another puzzle to demonstrate what would happen after Kf8.

I feel like saving the knight wasn't really ever an issue.  It was more about not loosing a pawn?  With Kf8 though, there is a little on the side of tactics for white, its just playing accurately.  The check on b3 seems pretty crucial though, and the position is complicated, so its very interesting.

I was in a debate with my home girl. she tried to tell me I wasn't a GM Chess player. so I asked her her rating... this novice tells me she's a 2300. so I told her the higher you are the novice she is. so I told her I was a GM and my rating is a 942. so after I schooled her... I smashed that night no doubt. yet PPL told her to not believe me. Chess world plz tell my boo I'm telling the truth. thank y'all

You're correct. A 2300 patzer wouldn't know that, of course.
