5 seconds rating is around 1600-1700 uscf

Omwfeeling

Only 5 seconds ?
I'have showed this problem to several players better rated and they needed much more time.
Congrats if you are not wrong.

piphilologist

I took about 30 seconds, rating 2000

takes a while looking at all of the pieces to find which one can checkmate...

EDIT: didn't even get it lol! thought Qb5 was mate, didn't see the pin

further edit: got it, about 90 seconds

chessblood

1200ish. 40- 50 seconds.

Oatmotor

1848, but I think my rating is a fluke, had some timeouts---think I got it, but only after I looked away from frustration then looked again, then thought I had it then was about to give up, not over 2 mins  of actual contemplation tho.  I STILL love your picture Elodie, and I think if I got it right you should send me an enlargement(LOL,I can dream can't I?)

VULPES_VULPES

10 seconds, 1700

rtfisner

30 seconds, don't have an official rating, around 1100-1300 here.

chessblood

Just depends on which piece you start looking at.

ShadowIKnight

about 90s, 2000 rating.

Pre_VizsIa

harder than it looks - give it 67 seconds at a 1257 rating

knightofcrashtest

30 secs. Rating 1150.

Wow... nice problem.

23 possible checks if I counted correctly.  The only White piece that can't deliver check is the pinned rook.  And both of black's "pinned" pieces actually have to move in some of the lines.

TheGreatLlama

20 seconds, but to be fair half of that was spent finding the king
