1. Rxe5 leads to the same result with less choice for black: 1 .. Qf8 (or first an insignificant check) 2. Qxf8+ Kxf8 3. Rb5.

Most good game wins are no good as a puzzle and this is one of them. Puzzles must be solvable which means there may be only one correct move at every turn.
