I think people don't just accept things simply because other people tell them to. There has to be some sort of reason. In terms of concrete reality, 2 plus 2 in its dynamic syntax is the identity of 4 on a mapping of consistency, otherwise you shouldn't be able to say or do anything.

If that wasn't the case, reality would not exist because you have to understand that reality is a uniformal syntax, which means that the equation is correct at all times unless you want to deny the very existence of logical consistency in itself, in which case your thoughts and perceptions would not exist.
