Just recently (as in  I have been listening to it today and am right now) I have discovered the beauty of handel. AT teh moment I am listening to water music and it is awesome. And who can tell me is the order baroque, renassaince, classical, romantic. My knowledge only goes so far as that beethovenss 9th started the romantic era.

Renaissance music doesn't seem to have much popularity, but it did come first. The order is: Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, Romantic.

I love brahms and bach. Two very different composers, who write in very different styles, but they were both geniuses. After them I like pretty much everything from pre-rennaisance to modern, except this new "experimentalist" style. A lot of modern music is good (Michael Nyman, Philip Glass), but some I just can't appreciate at all.

Beethoven, Dvorak New World Symphony in the 4th section. I like minor music. XD I tried to compose some major tunes recently, but they all ended up minor.
