From Japan, there is a lengthy and painstaking process of creating shiny clay balls out of mere mud. Because of the time involved in their transformation, these balls are actually valuable like pottery. Surprisingly valuable. They are called Hikaru Dorodango.
I first heard of this from Mr-Mudd, and I didn’t believe him. I thought it was another of his mud club jokes. But it’s a real thing. Poor Mr-Mudd. I’m sorry I didn’t listen, didn’t believe you all along.
The also have aluminum foil balls they hammer into a perfect sphere. The mythbusters guy made one on a video one time. Since I can’t go into any deets on my favorite kind of balls
