I changed my mind. I now realize that 2 + 2 does infact equal 4 and anybody who thinks otherwise is obviously deluded.

"4" is merely a place holder symbol that could represent any numerical value. Therefore, 2+2=5 is correct, as 5 could easily represent the numerical value that is represented by the number "4".

You're still not using relevant context. The numbers 4 and 5 are already defined. You can't use them as placeholders.
