Egos, personalities, and people

I'm amazed at how many people have weak egos, character, and the inability to play chess with respect.

I'm amazed at how many terrible, unfriendly comments I see when I visit players message boards, or play folks who make unfounded comments that make them look ignorant, and perhaps mentally underdeveloped.

I post this forum simply to see if anyone understands why so many humans, regardless of country, ....are weak in character, have egos that are weak or to strong...and simply can't restrain from making asses of themselves.

Here's some examples

1# people that call you names when playing or who make statements against your play..even if you eventually win?

2# worse, people that leave rude or obscene comments just because you beat them?

3# People that play poorly, and then simply abandon the game so you have to wait seveveral minutes before it times out?

These are only a few of the things that so clearly expose the poor character of a person, and in a sad way, shows why the world in general is always at war, and people fight all the time.

People will sadly always be people, there's no changing all of them in this world, it's too late for that. 

All you can do is stick by your morals and standards and hope that other people will follow. 

Testosterone is often like a runaway train. Try playing against some nice ladies. They are less inclined to call you the kind of names written on your wall.

We played 3 games in total. I won 2 of them. Facing the loss, you accused me of cheating, which isn't much better than making unpolite statements.

Unfortunately, and I don't like to say that, it seems that your ego isn't that strong, either.
