What is so great about first page? What is it anyways?
While there are no written records to corroborate, I believe this was the first page:
I'm talking about on the puzzles! Everybody says "OOOOHHH YEAH! First page!"
Awesome people are always on the first page, by definition. Better get cracking.
I suppose it's a feat hard to achieve. You have to be online in the first minutes of the 9th hour—I think—of any day, i.e., just after 8:00 UTC+1. It may be hard... I've never achieved that, and I'm not sure if, in case I ever achieve that, I'll join the madness and shout out loud "FIRST PAGE!" as soon as I notice that fact. I'll perhaps just comment the puzzle, like I'd do in any other day.
First page annoucement of "1st page!!!" is childish on these Daily Puzzles. It feels like I am in a classroom of 4th graders. I don't think they even look at the puzzle or try to solve it before they post. Chess.com is such a great learning place but I wish they would do something about these useless comments. On the other chess sites, people actually provide commentary and useful analysis. How about if the last page was shown first?
Yes, I don't clearly see the point... But I've never been to other chess sites. I like this one!
