HAPPY VETERANS DAY

i lowk don’t make a lot of threads but veterans day is a very special occasion because we get to specially recognize those who served or currently serve this great country (sorry non-americans) these brave men and women sacrifice so much for us and i think they deserve at least one day of the year where we can say thankyou. so any veterans out there thankyou for your service and God bless! ❤️ 🇺🇸

In case you didn't know... wishing someone happy veterans day may not always be welcome (but many are fine with it).

Veterans Day, Armistice Day, Remembrance Day... whatever you call it, is more a day of reflection or gratitude. It's not exactly a day of celebration when one wishes happiness.

It is a day that marks the signing of peace treaties at the end of World War 1. It's a very sad day that is intended to commemorate those that died in Word War 1 (and other wars) or served in the military.

Maybe "To all veterans — thank you for protecting our freedoms.” or simply "thank you for your service". Or, "Wishing you peace and pride on Veterens Day".
