Well I see that threads are again on the go here asking the old question: When will Chess be solved ? Perhaps we should instead ask the much more important question: When will Human Beings be Solved ?

Not a jot... on a Universal basis all a meaningless waste of time....but!

I don't think it's possible to waste time.... Time is an abstraction....
The Universe moves:)

its possible to waste time, because we will all die eventauuly.

so to watse time brings us closer to death.

evan spending time well brings us to death-but ide rather spend it well then badly.

Interesting question which is unusual for this place. Life would be a waste of time but we have something called cheeseburgers.

You're right about the universe. It's vast. It's extremely old. Our planet is a speck of nothing compared to the rest of the universe.

---   We could go further and say that our little planet is but a very tiny speck within our Milky Way Galaxy. Then we need to face the fact that our ENTIRE Galaxy is only a very very tiny speck in this vast vast Universe !

No, I don't think too many people think in the Goth tradition.... I, myself, think it's a fun to dismiss my life and say nothing matters.... But no, I think we are given life for various tiny reasons.....

Maybe we are godlike aliens "doing the scarecrow" as Q put it in that Star Trek Voyager episode, Deathwish....
