Black Mass ,a badly named gangster movie ,the true story of Bostons James'whitey'Bolger,Whoever did Johnny Depps make up deserves an Oscar for his/her efforts ,Thise of you who like true life drama will love this.Johnny s acting is superb after all that Disney crap !
Selma ,The Martin Luther King biopic ,Strong stuff !Selma Alabama was 50%Black yet only 2% of black people had the right to vote ,Its been a long journey from King to Obama ,It reminded me of my childhood in N.Ireland ,when Civil Rights marchers faced the same predudice , violence and gerrymander,One man one vote was our right yet denied us by our local WASPS, ,Martin Luther King Jnr and Oprah Winfrey feature .
Personal comparison on two preachers ,One M. L ,King the other Ian K.Paisley ,both were directly involved in Civil Rights marches ,One was a black minister, one a white firebrand preacher,Ones action lead to black emancipation in Selma, Alabama and the American Nation ,the other led Protestant Loyalist thugs to disrupt Civil Rights marchers in Burntollet, Northern Ireland ,Both men met their nemisis's coincidentally on a bridge ,One peacefully opposed thuggery and predudice ,the other gleefully extolled them.Both dramas happened in the 1960's .And both men are now dead ,one before his 40th birthday by a bullet in Memphis (in the name of love U2) one in his 80's by natural causes ,Both have met their makers , Only the good die young ,I wonder if both rest in peace ,?

KILL COMMAND ,Sci Fi ,an army combat team and an computer enhanced female are sent to a deserted location for battle training against militarised robots .They are soon locked into a real battle for survival,Action packed and fairly entertaining. 6.5 outta 10.00.
