same..

tho i think that most people who can solve it just learn some algorithms instead of actually inventing the solution on their own...

I've heard it took Erno Rubik about a month to figure it out for the first time. So yes, most people (I'd say about 99.99 percent) learn to solve it using algorithms, which they memorize. But even people who do figure it out for themselves, do it by making up their own algorithms...which they then memorize.

I’m the 0.01%. I’ve never wasted even a thought of picking up the toy puzzle. But if you find it challenging and stimulating, go for it and be the best at it you can be.

Wait...you actually figured it out? You can solve it without any help?

i've solved a fully jumbled one once...took me around 4 days, was so exhausted that i never touched them again lol

lol i have a friend..who can solve the cubes in under 30 seconds..he once showed me his algorithms, it took up a whole notebook lol no idea how someone memorizes that

I’m able to solve 3x3 in 1 minute when I was 10 years old. I stopped now though. But I learnt after that how to solve 5x5 and 4x4 which are harder.

My 2x2 pb is about 4 seconds. I just used the basic ideas from beginners method on the 3x3 on the 2x2

My fastest time is 30 seconds, but I use a magnetic cube and CFOP method!

Its been a long time since I posted this thread and I am surprised It is still alive lol
My fastest time is 14 seconds and my average got to about 20-25 seconds at my peak.

30 seconds is mad impressive though! Keep up the good work.
