Not only I can't see any housing, but there is no reason why it would be any, in all common sense.
The other planets are round, but the Earth is flat... why is that?
Also there are all the stars and planets and everything, but the Earth is the center of it all, why is that?
The answer is because this is the most important place in the universe, because God made it like that. So God made the large invisible structure that houses the sun, and also God is the one who fuels the sun every year so that it doesn't go out.
Well, maybe God makes angels do it, but you know, it doesn't really matter who does it, because the most important thing is the Earth is flat.
The sun gets colder and hotter because it's like a furnace. After burning a while it gets cooler right? So then someone has to come along and put more fuel into it. That also solves the problem of why the sun can burn so long without going out... if whoever is fueling it stopped then it really would go out in about 1 year.
