The sun gets colder and hotter because it's like a furnace. After burning a while it gets cooler right? So then someone has to come along and put more fuel into it. That also solves the problem of why the sun can burn so long without going out... if whoever is fueling it stopped then it really would go out in about 1 year.

The other planets are round, but the Earth is flat... why is that?

Also there are all the stars and planets and everything, but the Earth is the center of it all, why is that?

The answer is because this is the most important place in the universe, because God made it like that. So God made the large invisible structure that houses the sun, and also God is the one who fuels the sun every year so that it doesn't go out.

Well, maybe God makes angels do it, but you know, it doesn't really matter who does it, because the most important thing is the Earth is flat.

Maybe I will misquote noodles (sorry for that) but I seem to remember him saying that the main thing isn't that the Earth is flat, and the most important part of the theory is the government is lying to people and you can't trust them or scientists.

Prove planets are spherical. 

I thought we already agreed that circular/round does not equate sphericity. 

A disk is round, a coin is round, a frisbee is round, many things are round that are not spherical. 

Hard to explain the rings around Saturn (and Uranus and Neptune) unless those planets are ball shaped.

We used to think God did magic and poofed the whole thing into existence... but then we were able to explain things like weather and disease and eclipses... and as humanity learned more, the less we needed to use magic to explain things.

MG - I have been researching this stuff for 10 years. There is no empirical evidence that the earth is a moving globe.

I read online somewhere that flat earthers are largely fundamentalist Christians who also believe in the literal reading of the Bible e.g. God created things in 7 days... which is fine, I'm not mocking Christians in this topic... but an important part of flat earth ideas is that the government goes against God by teaching a round Earth.

Whatever the sun is, it is demonstrably not a colossal ball of fire 400 times larger than the moon 93 million miles away.

Prove the moon rotates. Prove you are blasting through space 30 times faster than a speeding bullet. Prove the sun is 400 times larger than the moon and 93 million miles away. Prove stars are light years away. Prove the planets are spherical. Prove water sticks to a spinning ball.

Even though you don't believe in gravity you believe that (somehow) denser matter pushes down and fall below less dense matter... in other words the water wants to stay below the air because density, and the air want to stay below the void of space because density.

Ok, so now all I have to do is argue that the centrifugal force of the spinning ball is less than the made up force of density.
