Turtles can also be Happy Together.

Thanks a lot for the Hint Batgirl ! As soon as I read your post I had to rush over to YouTube and there they were ! The Turtles with their 1967 hit " Happy Together " and after that I also listened to their 1968 hit " Elenore ", some great tunes. Thanks Again !

Turtles is one of those bands that had that one hit everyone has heard but a bunch of other good songs rarely played. Meanwhile I can hear the same song five times a day on the radio just driving home from work. I want to tell them to play something different but I'm not going to ring them up while driving, maybe I should call before I leave so that they will know I am listening and they had better play good music!

good luck. with so many radio stations owned by corporations that have a play list, your input will most likely be ignored.

radio today sucks ass due to money. corporations can be defined as sociopaths.

i remember the first time i heard pearl jam on the radio. what are the chances of any new artist getting airtime if there is no money involved?

From time to time we have covered goofy crooks in this thread however some goofy rich folks are also doing odd things. Take for example Ms Lonstein-Gruss, a fashion designer and former girlfriend of Jerry Seinfeld. This lady has just lost $ 1.5 million dollars worth of jewelry due to a burglary at her New York home. Are we supposed to feel sorry for someone stupid enough ( & rich enough ) to keep that much jewelry in their home ? Perhaps the idea of renting a safety-deposit box in a bank never ever occurred to this brainiac.

---   They are at it again. This time it was a Kardashian who lost $ 10 million dollars worth of jewels in a Paris hotel room ( another brainiac ).

To badenwurtca.I had to message you on this thread as for some unknown reason you blocked me on your "Trysts" thread.Precisely why did you block me?Over a symbol of "Peace" the original Swastika?.I explained the historical significance and verbally castigated the scum who defiled that symbol.I can only speculate that you didn't read my explanation through the first time round.Or can you read comprehensively?Your remedy like so many other contributors to these forums-who cannot take the truth-run to block.Poor little blossoms.Maybe you can give me a credible explanation as to why I was blocked by you. I seldom block any individual especially not if they express contrary views to my own.My perception of these "trigger-happy" blockers is that they run for cover to hide from views which they cannot stomach.I say to them Toughen up you YBF.Also I think it is common cause that MODS often overreact to the Locking syndrome. Finally re the Swastika I noted that one of the MODS endorsed my basis for exhibiting the original symbol(thread not locked!).If the uneducated numptys(of which there are many) haven't understood the meaning and stay confused with the "Devil's Swastika " that features in movies etc, that is their problem. As I said I am not going to go away.So keep blocking sunshine.Laughing

With  people like you Kayshi...sorry(mispelled your tag)- night I feel honoured. With many other YBF having blocked me I regard it as a true badge of honour.Truth comes at a price.(I see you are back to the few words in your vocabulary...."just saying")-can't you be a bit more intelligent and learn at least another 10? I am not going to go away!Laughing

---   Ok fine if you feel that I got carried away I'll change the setting back to normal. Btw it's been a while since I've been called sunshine ( I do look a lot like Santa these days, my beard is a bit shorter tho ).

---   Thanks for the nice comment, glad that you like this thread. When I sign onto the internet this PC goes over to Windows Edge which shows a lot of news. Plus I've got a radio turned on here about 16 hours a day so I get to see & hear lots of info from these two sources.

As per usual kaynight up to scratch.Take a leaf out of this OP's book. The way you go about it will mean "so as ye sow so also shall ye reap".You still hiding behind your unwarranted blocking of me?Anyway I think you will be accorded the nomination of the top YBF of this year the way you are behaving-watch this spot.Ah, you have heeded my advice and learned another 5 words! Could do better though.I think we agreed 10 words at this stage.Bless you little timid diddums.Laughing

---   Thanks for the post Witmag, some days I get upset easier than others. As for Kaynight I do worry about him sometimes, I suspect that he might be one of those glass half-empty kind of folks   lol.
