What the hell is a "furry"?!

By that definition, every child who has watched a cartoon. Not a great description.

somebody called me a furry a few days back.  should i have been offended? i wasn't but someone nearby was shaking their head when it happened, so i felt this strange expectation placed on me to go up and punch the poster.  but then this was on the internet and that was just not possible.  now i'm not a violent person by nature but we all have to act according to the times.  what should i do? i mean besides creating a new topic to solicit public opinion ...
