Another trend that took off are war game threads. And now they have deviated from the way they were supposed to be like.

Which is caused by topic saturation. There are too many RP threads, thus distracting people from the actually good ones.

The good ones are superior, but there are too many bad ones with low-quality content, unoriginal ideas and the creators bumping them constantly.

Yup that's the point, early threads like will's interactive odyssey and rainy forever were actually good, but got lost among the low-effort "RPs".

I am referring to the sheer amount of garbage I am seeing on OTF. For example: "Would you marry the person above you?" another example could be all the roleplays I've been seeing.
I see the post I quoted has two downvotes. I’ll still agree with you, though. I’ve seen at least two new person above you threads, and there are too many RP’s. Honestly, this is all because when a trend takes off in OTF, there are always at least three copies.
