Points

What really are points? I notice when I comment on something it goes up by one. But what is the point of points?

So, doesn't anyone know what points are? Someone has to know.

This is a chess site, so I do not understand why they then make something like points that you only earn by commented and creating forums, blogs etc?

no idea about the formula for "points".   however as you noticed whenever you comment in the Forums, it goes up.

I once read on this site that chess.com tries encouraging us to be more social :>)   so the more you interact publicly with other members, you will rise to the highest levels !     People who never reach out on the Forums or Photos will stay at Zero
