I might regret this one but I will go with the Saints in week 2.

Going with the Saints.

Good luck to your Steelers Fisher. Here's to hoping for a clean game with no injuries.

Avatar of WBFISHER

As a true Steelers fan I cannot wish any good luck to the 49ers this week. In fact I am looking for a voodoo priestess in the Pittsburgh area to sprinkle these chicken wing bones I just finished in Kaepernicks locker at Heinz Field.

Series stats:

49ers lead 11 to 9

49ers record at Pittsburgh 6-4

49ers record at home vs. Pitt. 5-5

49ers record at Heinz Field 0 wins /1 loss

I am with you on the injuries jonnguy2014, hope that no one gets hurt.

NFL Trivia: Who has the most wins as a head coach in the NFL (no internet assistance)

NFL news and notes: Broncos beat the Chiefs 31-24

do you think peyton manning did good? personally, i didn't think that he did bad...but he still isn't as good as he used to be. He gets sacked too much now.

Plus, the Broncos won the game on another defensive touchdown. Maybe this is the year when the Broncos have the best defense in the NFL (better than the Seahawks? probably not...).

Prediction: i think that the broncos will not have the best defense in the NFL this year. What about you? Comment below

Don Shula, I believe.

Steelers'' record w/o Bell: 0-5

Avatar of WBFISHER

Shula has to be it, he coached for decades.

A lot of folks going with the Saints this week, if they lose gatorrt is going to get an early jump on us.

Denver has a good defense but the best? Bengals and Carolina might challenge for it.

Ouch jonnguy, that is a disturbing stat. Big Ben needs to awaken his inner beast. And wtf with the 49ers uniforms on Monday night? Did they ever play in black uniforms before, Or is it Steeler envy (lightheartedly)?

I thought P. Manning played pretty good this week. Nice precision and timing on most of his passes.

Avatar of 1RedKnight99

I thought Manning wasn't doing well until he moved back to his familiar shotgun-based system.

@WBFISHER and @jonnguy2014: correct! it is Don Shula.

@WBFISHER: right...the 49ers jerseys were weird. I've never seen them before...

The only reason I didn't pick the Saints was because I dont think that they're really that good anymore. Tampa Bay has a chance against them

Winston will win some games, but they won't be early on.

Avatar of WBFISHER

Tampa does have a chance I agree. I just could not find any "sure to win" teams this week.

The Saints are at home to.

Avatar of WBFISHER

The Saints might be the worst team in the NFL this season.

Cowboys lose Romo for 6-8 weeks, can they hold it together till he gets back?

D. Williams was a great pick-up for the Steelers.

And finally, the Cardinals are displaying like they are the alpha male.

HAIL TO THE REDSKINS!

NFC East status:

Giants are losing too many games that they should win...Eli Manning is slightly to blame for that. Odell Beckham Jr. is their only good player

eagles status (i'll put it in two words): they stink

Demarco Murray has less than 20 yds, right? Their leading rusher is Darren Sproles with 46 yards. LOL!

cowboys: dez bryant is out 10-12 weeks, romo is out 8-10 weeks, witten...i dont know how long he'll be out (sprained knee and ankle)...and brandon weeden is inconsistent

Redskins: they'll probably get to 6-10 this year...but their division is so bad that 6 or 7 wins may be enough to make it to the playoffs

Avatar of jonnguy2014

Murray had 2 yards in Week 2 on 13 carries.

THe Seahawks better get it together, or they might not even win their division.
