Me: i think that Cousins is the right choice...for now. RG3 would not have been able to lead the GW drive in the week 4 win over the Eagles. heck, i dont think he would have even beaten the rams. The o-line would have collapsed and RG3 would have taken a beating. The Redskins would be 0-5 with Robert Griffin III. Still,i think rg3 has potential someplace else with a different offense and a different team.
Kirk Cousins is not to blame for the loss to the falcons. Our D did good all game long and Cousins was making the right throws. 75% of his incompletions, it seems, came on easy passes that were dropped by guys like Pierre Garcon. Jamison Crowder emerged as a star for the Redskins yesteray and Cousins utilized him...
the pick-6 was really heartbreaking but Ryan Grant slipped and fell. If he hadn't fallen, he would have either caught the ball or dropped it. No matter what, though, Cousins needs to improve. it's hard to remember that he's still early in his career with all the hype surrouding RG3 but now that he;s gone, it's time for Captain Kirk to shine and if he improves every game, i think that he can help us win at least 7 or 8 games this year
Im already gonna make my week 6 pick: Falcons over Saints on thursday night.
Falcons didnt play great against the redskins but they are 5-0 and they have freeman and matt ryan. Saints lost to the EAGLES 39-17, so yeah...im going falcons all the way

I can't really give an assessment of the Redskins or Cousins yet, have not seen enough to weigh-in. I think the Redskins have a legit shot at 8 or more wins though.
Falcons AT Saints is a division rivalry so the Saints should be up for this one and are at home. I will make my pick later this week.
