Riddles

I'm hoping other people will add more riddles to this, here goes the first.

The builder doesn't want it; the buyer won't use it; the user can't see it. No one even wants to think about it and yet lots of people have one. What is it?

You can't buy a cough. "The buyer won't use it". Good suggestion though.
