rivers do NOT have the same rights as humans

A court ruled that the two sacred rivers in India had the same rights as humans so that polluting the rivers would be seen by law as the same severity as harming a person.

However, the village near the source of the Ganges river appealed the decision because it wasn't made clear who would have to pay the compensation when someone drowned in the river (the river murdered someone). They won the appeal.

😂😂😂😂😂

As always, this is completely out of context. These people believe in this religion that this river is sacred- if you were religious, and your religion said "this river is sacred!" Then....well, you would (most likely, if you believed in that religion) say it is sacred. What your really doing here is, kind of, mocking other religions.

If someone drowned, it would be suicide.
